I remember this doll! Also to the left slightly in back of me, a rubber elephant whose nails I used to paint; red as I recall.

Diana J. Limjoco and Amparito Arguelle de Villa at Lola Amparings home in Malate.

When I think of my childhood it has to have Ampy de Villa in it, my second cousin on my Lola Feling’ s side of the family. I can’t remember how many hours we spent eating fresh seafood from Lola Amparings seafood farms in Sariyaya.

This photo was taken at Lola Amparings house in Malate. Lola loved Pekinese dogs and always had a slew, and Siamese cats, of which I inherited one of each. We would read for hours, Classics Illustrated Comics, very well done classis stories for children. There is only one Ampy, that’s for sure.

My kuya Randy always says that I used to make him “sumbong” to our mom. I never believed him, but now here is photographic evidence that I did. It looks like I’m pointing and saying “Randy did it!” hahaha right: My “kuya” Randy always says that I used to make him “sumbong” to our mom. This was taken at the flat above the Batangas Ice plant where we lived with Lola Feling. That’s a portrait of Lolo Goyo on the mantle in the background. I wish I could have known him personally.
